Pardon me a bit, whilst I play with this new software that lets me manipulate photos . . .

We had a really good turn out at last Sunday's knitting group, our Fertile Turtles. Jane, Pat, Lynda, and Luna made it back - yay!
Lynda knitted gloves, despite packing in some purple and black roving of alpaca and silk. The stuff is gasp-worthy, for sure. Luna had some thrummed mitts going, ala the Yarn Harlot's pattern.
Debra's gray sweater continues, Angelika cast on for another Calorimety, Raeus detailed her 4 Seasons coat, Pam has the Glynis socks going in some beautiful Araucania yarn, Anastasia only lacks one sleeve of finishing her lacey cardigan, and Mary Beth has a toy hedgehog on her needles. She figured out that I was stalking her on Ravelry earlier that morning (giggle).

Pat is digging the new brioche stitch book with a red & charcoal scarf.
But folks, it was the detail work on her sweater that fascinated me - just lookit! Don't it make you want to knit one like it?

But don't fret over her secret projects: Nicole is test knitting one of them, as we speak.
