This just in! Our local yarn store, thus Tennessee, won this year's Yarn Bowl Challenge! Combined with the originators in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (Serendipity), a grand total of 4,909 preemie hats were knitted up and will be divided between the two areas' childrens' hospitals. Can you even imagine that many tiny, itty, bitty little heads in all them hats??? Just trying to envision it really brings it home to me just what we've accomplished.
